Name: Hillary Country: United Kingdom Metro: Manchester Birthday: 12/26/1980 Gender: Female
Interests: Music, doing as little work as possible to get my MSc (ha)- currently color associations children make with music, synesthesia & chromesthesia, observing John Sloboda & all of his interesting little habits.... & Jayson Moll. I LOVE JAYSON MOLL!! Oh, & moving back to the Land of the Free & the Home of the Brave. Expertise: Well, I have an undergrad in Music Ed, & in less than a month I'll have my Masters in Music Psychology... but no expert here & anyone who thinks they are have a lot to learn. I'm good at putting on a lot of makeup, sleeping, being a nerd, making up words/phrases & convincing people that Americans use it as slang, procrastinating, pretending I can play the french horn, & making frozen pizzas. Recently, I've been able to rip 20-page papers out of my ass which is really useful. Weird how I used to think that 20 pages was soooo long. Occupation: Student Industry: Education/Research

| Thought it was time for my 3 month update. I am alive. I never post on xanga or read them. I have myspace, that's all I make time for. I noticed all the new doo-hickeys and am frightened. I apologize for the inconvenience.

| What is this "footprints" things? | | |
| Wow, it's been awhile but since Candice requested I am posting on xanga. I was watching the news tonight and this is what they reported on... Evidently, and woman in this general area, (can't remember the town) shot her husband for giving her a warm Stag beer. Smart woman, I would have done the same thing. Warm and Stag, I hope she got him in the jewels. | | |
| Well, I made it up here to Montreal to visit my sister. It wasn't nearly as hot here as Meghan likes to complain about, but I guess they're having a break in the weather. Since I last posted... hmmm. I found a place to live, I got some furniture so that's good. We made it up to Montreal, we stopped at Niagara Falls on the way up here. It's a lot neater this time around than it was the last time... yeah, probably because I was six years old. On a somewhat more exciting note, the Montreal International Jazz Fest is going on right now. It's just not going to be fun without someone who really knows anything about jazz. I know crap about it, and what I do know is only because Alesia worked very hard to ram it down my throat - I do appreciate it though. *sigh* How am I supposed to enjoy jazz if I can't complain and have Alesia tell me how stupid I am. | | |
| So, a lot has happened I guess since I last posted....
I got home from Finland on the 16th of June, on the 17th of June Oldman got here. We spent some time in Chicago, then we came down to Missouri and went into St. Louis... we went to some Lincoln village north of Springfield, IL, too. Anyway, it was really nice to get to see him, who knows when I'll see him again.
Anyway, just so all of you know I did in fact adopt two baby kitties!! One of my a brother/sister team that I taught at Owensville gave them to me, and they are adorable!! They're excited about becoming Southern Gentlemen, I just hope they don't pick up a southern accent.
Better yet- I finally found a place to live down south!! YAY!!! I won't be completely homeless, at least for the year. It's a nice little place - 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, garage etc and it's kitty friendly - only 12-14 miles from school. So, I'm excited. I'll be moving on July 15th! Come and visit me because I'm going to be lonely! I don't know anyone down there!
We're leaving for Montreal soon. That was the deal, as soon as I found a place to live, we were going to leave... so, I guess I'll spend another 4th of July in a non-US place. That fucking sucks by the way. I love 4th of July! I don't like to light fireworks or anything, but I love to watch them. Anyway, hope everything with all of you is going well...
Come freaking visit me. | | |
